From Florence and Benoit Chazallon of Château de la Selve, the Cros des Calades wines are made from some of their neighbours’ grapes. All organic of course, and the vinification is along the same lines as at Ch. de la Selve – minimal intervention and respectful of year and terroir. The white has bags of character, with great acidity, a touch of honeysuckle and apple and pear fruit. Superb as an aperitif or with something light and fishy.
