Domaine Agnes Paquet Hautes Cotes de Beaune Blanc 2021 comes from two lime-rich plots, one in Meloisey, the other being a 40-year old vineyard in Bobigny, near Auxey-Duresses. The fruit is fermented and aged in 100% double-sized not-new barrels giving a lovely deep lemon-gold in colour. On the nose, there’s bright green and yellow fruits; pear, peaches and apple with a lick of brioche. This follows through onto the palate showing a touch of oak. Rich, well-rounded and lively.
